How to use it

  1. Type the number of Celsius in the first field.
  2. Read the result in Fahrenheit. You can also type in the Fahrenheit field to convert the other way.
  3. Use the table of common values, or copy the result with one click.

How it works

Formula: °F = °C × 9/5 + 32

Temperature scales have different zero points, so the conversion adds or subtracts an offset as well as scaling. That is why doubling a temperature in Celsius does not double it in Fahrenheit.

Results use the exact definitions of both units. The page shows up to 6 decimal places; copy the value for full precision.
