How to use it
- Type one or more keywords that describe your Pins, separated by commas or new lines. Any language works.
- Optionally choose a niche, add a location or brand tag, and set how many hashtags you want. Click a suggestion to leave it out.
- Copy the hashtags separated by spaces, or copy a caption block with your caption and the hashtags together.
How it works
Pinterest relies mostly on the words in a Pin's title, description and board, so descriptive keywords matter more than hashtags. Pin descriptions allow up to 500 characters at the time of writing.
Describe the Pin as someone would search for it: what it shows, the style and the use. Hashtags are optional extras, so a handful is plenty.
How the suggestions are made: your keywords are cleaned (letters of any alphabet, digits and underscores are kept; spaces, punctuation and emoji are removed) and expanded into variants such as English singular and plural forms and combinations with your niche, location and format. Hand-picked English tags for the chosen niche are added, duplicates are merged regardless of case, and the list is ordered from your exact keywords to broad tags. Nothing is looked up online, so no popularity figures are shown: check how a tag is actually used on Pinterest before relying on it.
Examples

Keywords “living room ideas” with the Home decor niche and the default settings give:
#LivingRoomIdeas #LivingRoomIdea #InteriorDesign #HomeInspiration #LivingRoom
Pinterest Pins: “watercolor flowers”
Keywords “watercolor flowers”, the Art niche and the location “Paris” give:
#WatercolorFlowers #WatercolorFlower #WatercolorFlowersParis #WatercolorFlowersArt #Paris
Frequently asked questions
How many hashtags should I use on Pinterest Pins?
This generator selects 5 by default for Pinterest Pins and suggests at most 10; you can raise the maximum to 20 if you need to. More hashtags rarely help: keep the ones that describe the content precisely. Platform guidance changes, so check Pinterest's current help pages.
Where do I put the hashtags on Pinterest?
Write a natural description with your keywords first, then add a few hashtags at the end of the description.
Does the generator use AI, trends or real post counts?
No. The suggestions come only from the words you type, simple spelling rules and a hand-written list of tags for each niche. The tool does not contact Pinterest or any other service, so it cannot know how popular a tag is, and it never shows invented numbers.
