Type what your content is about and get clean, de-duplicated hashtags for X (Twitter) posts, ready to copy.

Separate keywords with commas or new lines. Any language and alphabet works.

Kept as you type it, for example TIGTools.

Hashtag style

CamelCase (#TravelTips) is recommended: it is easier to read, and screen readers can pronounce the words separately. Hashtags work the same in either style.

Suggested: 2. You can change it.

X (Twitter) guidanceX has suggested using no more than two hashtags per post. Hashtags count towards the post length: 280 characters for standard accounts at the time of writing, so the caption block is measured against that. One or two relevant hashtags keep a post readable; more take space from your message. Character counting on X is approximate here: links and some scripts are counted differently by X.

Type at least one keyword to get suggestions. A niche alone adds its general tags.

How to use it

  1. Type one or more keywords that describe your posts, separated by commas or new lines. Any language works.
  2. Optionally choose a niche, add a location or brand tag, and set how many hashtags you want. Click a suggestion to leave it out.
  3. Copy the hashtags separated by spaces, or copy a caption block with your caption and the hashtags together.

How it works

X has suggested using no more than two hashtags per post. Hashtags count towards the post length: 280 characters for standard accounts at the time of writing, so the caption block is measured against that.

One or two relevant hashtags keep a post readable; more take space from your message. Character counting on X is approximate here: links and some scripts are counted differently by X.

How the suggestions are made: your keywords are cleaned (letters of any alphabet, digits and underscores are kept; spaces, punctuation and emoji are removed) and expanded into variants such as English singular and plural forms and combinations with your niche, location and format. Hand-picked English tags for the chosen niche are added, duplicates are merged regardless of case, and the list is ordered from your exact keywords to broad tags. Nothing is looked up online, so no popularity figures are shown: check how a tag is actually used on X (Twitter) before relying on it.

Frequently asked questions

How many hashtags should I use on X (Twitter) posts?

This generator selects 2 by default for X (Twitter) posts and suggests at most 2; you can raise the maximum to 10 if you need to. More hashtags rarely help: keep the ones that describe the content precisely. Platform guidance changes, so check X (Twitter)'s current help pages.

Where do I put the hashtags on X (Twitter)?

Write hashtags inside the post text, either within the sentence or at the end.

Does the generator use AI, trends or real post counts?

No. The suggestions come only from the words you type, simple spelling rules and a hand-written list of tags for each niche. The tool does not contact X (Twitter) or any other service, so it cannot know how popular a tag is, and it never shows invented numbers.
