How to use it
- Log in or create a free account; AI tools need one so daily usage can be counted.
- Paste the text you want to rewrite. The counter shows how many characters your plan allows per request.
- Choose a tone and, if you want the result in another language, an output language.
- Click “Rewrite”, then copy the result or download it as a .txt file. Run it again for a different variation.
How it works
The paraphraser sends your text to an AI language model with instructions to reword it in the tone you chose while keeping the full meaning, every fact, name, number and link, and your paragraph breaks. It is told not to add information that is not in your text.
Tones: Neutral keeps a plain, clear style. Formal suits business letters and reports. Casual sounds like a friendly message. Simpler uses everyday words and shorter sentences. Shorter removes repetition and filler, typically cutting 30–50% of the words. More persuasive uses confident, benefit-focused wording without inventing claims.
Each request counts towards your plan's daily AI limit, and the text length per request is limited by your plan. AI output can contain mistakes, so read the result before you use it.
Examples
Making an email more formal
“Hey, can you send me the report by Friday? Thanks!” with the Formal tone becomes something like “Could you please send me the report by Friday? Thank you in advance.”
Shortening a product description
A 120-word paragraph full of repeated adjectives, rewritten with the Shorter tone, keeps every feature and fact in roughly 60–80 words.
Simplifying instructions
Technical setup steps rewritten with the Simpler tone use shorter sentences and common words, which helps customers and non-native readers.
Frequently asked questions
Will the meaning of my text change?
The model is instructed to keep the full meaning and all facts, names and numbers. Still, AI can occasionally change a nuance, so compare the result with your original before publishing.
Why do I need an account?
AI requests cost money to run, so they are limited per day. A free account lets us count your requests; guests cannot use AI tools.
Can I rewrite text in languages other than English?
Yes. By default the result is written in the same language as your text. You can also choose one of 31 output languages to rewrite and translate in one step.
Is the rewritten text unique?
It uses different wording, but rewriting someone else's work does not make it your own. Cite your sources and respect copyright.
Privacy
Your text is sent to TIG's server and forwarded to a third-party AI model provider to generate the result. TIG does not store the text or the result; only the number of requests is counted for your daily limit. Do not submit confidential or personal data.
