How to use it
- Log in or create a free account.
- Paste the text you want to summarize. The counter shows the characters your plan allows per request.
- Choose a length: one sentence, a short paragraph, bullet points or a detailed summary. Optionally choose another output language.
- Click “Summarize”, then copy the summary or download it as a .txt file.
How it works
The summarizer sends your text to an AI language model with instructions to use only information stated in the text, keep the author's meaning and emphasis, and keep important names, numbers and dates exactly. It is told not to add opinions or background knowledge.
Lengths: One sentence gives the single main point. Short paragraph uses 3–5 sentences. Bullet points lists 3–7 key points. Detailed covers every main point in the original order and can use headings for long, structured documents.
By default the summary is written in the language of the text; you can choose one of 31 languages instead. The maximum length of a text depends on your plan. AI summaries can miss or misstate details, so check anything important against the original.
Examples
Meeting notes to action points
Paste two pages of meeting notes and choose Bullet points to get the decisions and next steps as a short list you can send to the team.
Reading a foreign-language article
Paste a German news article, choose Short paragraph and set the output language to English to understand the key facts quickly.
Frequently asked questions
How long can the text be?
It depends on your plan: the counter under the box shows your per-request character limit. Pro allows much longer texts than the free plan.
Can the summary contain things that are not in my text?
The model is instructed to use only information in your text, but AI models can occasionally make mistakes. Check names, numbers and conclusions against the original.
Can I summarize a PDF or a web page?
Copy the text from the PDF or page and paste it here. The tool does not open files or fetch web addresses itself.
Privacy
Your text is sent to TIG's server and forwarded to a third-party AI model provider to generate the summary. TIG does not store the text or the summary; only the number of requests is counted for your daily limit. Do not submit confidential or personal data.
