JPG to PDF

Add your photos or scans, put them in order, pick a page size and margin, and download a single PDF. Images are converted on your device and never uploaded.

or drop it here. The file stays on your device.

JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP and AVIF images are supported (AVIF if your browser can open it). Each image becomes one page.

How to use it

  1. Choose or drop your images. You can add more at any time.
  2. Arrange them in the order the pages should appear.
  3. Pick a page size, orientation and margin. Automatic orientation turns the page sideways for wide images.
  4. Select Create PDF and download the file.

How it works

Each image is placed on its own page. On A4 or Letter pages the image is scaled to fit inside the margins without distortion and centred. With “Same as image”, every page is exactly as large as its image, measured at 96 pixels per inch, plus the margin.

JPEG and PNG files are embedded into the PDF unchanged, so there is no extra quality loss and the PDF is about as large as the images together. A JPEG with an EXIF rotation flag (typical for phone photos) is first turned the right way up by the browser and saved again as a high-quality JPEG. WebP, GIF, BMP and AVIF images are converted to JPEG, or to PNG when they contain transparency, because PDF cannot store those formats directly. Animated images use their first frame.

How many images you can combine at once, and how large each may be, depends on your plan.

Examples

Receipts for an expense report

Six phone photos of receipts on A4 portrait with a small margin become a 6-page PDF. Photos taken sideways are rotated automatically from their EXIF data.

Screenshots as a document

PNG screenshots with “Same as image” and no margin keep their exact proportions, with each page the size of its screenshot.

Frequently asked questions

Will my photos lose quality?

JPEG and PNG files are embedded as they are, without re-compression. Only rotated JPEGs and other formats such as WebP are re-encoded, at high quality.

Why is the PDF as large as my photos?

The images are stored at full resolution. To make the PDF smaller, compress or resize the images first, or run the PDF through Compress PDF.

Can I put several images on one page?

No, this tool places exactly one image on each page.

Does the PDF keep the photos' location data?

JPEG files embedded unchanged keep their EXIF data inside the PDF, including GPS location if the camera recorded it. Images that are re-encoded lose it. Remove EXIF data first if you share the PDF publicly.

Privacy

The images are read and placed into the PDF inside your browser. They are not uploaded, stored or included in analytics; only an anonymous event that the tool was used is counted.
