How to use it
- Choose, drop or paste your emote artwork.
- Choose Fit or Fill and trim transparent borders if needed.
- Keep the default sizes or remove them and add the sizes Kick's upload form asks for.
- Download each PNG or all as a ZIP and upload them in your Kick channel settings.
How it works
Kick emotes are square images with transparent backgrounds. Because Kick's exact current sizes and file limits were not confirmed when this tool was written, it starts with the widely used 112, 56 and 28 px set and lets you add any size from 8 to 1024 px. No file size limit is checked; the file size of each PNG is shown so you can compare it with what the upload form says.
Resizing runs in your browser with repeated halving and high-quality smoothing. Fit keeps the whole image with transparent space around it; Fill crops to a square. Only still PNGs are produced. This tool is not affiliated with Kick.
Examples
One large upload
Remove the 56 and 28 px sizes and add 512 px if the upload form asks for one large square image.
Emote set
Resize five emotes one after another; each ZIP holds 112, 56 and 28 px PNGs.
Frequently asked questions
What size should Kick emotes be?
Square with a transparent background. The exact pixel sizes and limits could not be confirmed for this tool; check Kick's upload form and adjust the sizes here to match.
Can I add my own sizes?
Yes. Enter any whole number from 8 to 1024 px and add it; up to 8 sizes at once.
Can I make animated emotes?
No. Only the first frame of a GIF is used and the output is a still PNG.
