How to use it
- Log in or create a free account.
- Paste your text. Leave “From” on automatic detection or choose the source language.
- Choose the target language and, if needed, a formal or informal tone.
- Click “Translate”, then copy the translation or download it as a .txt file.
How it works
The translator sends your text to an AI language model with instructions to translate the meaning naturally and completely, as a professional translator would, without summarizing or adding anything.
Formatting is preserved: line breaks, blank lines, lists and Markdown stay where they are, and URLs, e-mail addresses, code, numbers and placeholders such as {name} are kept unchanged. Brand and product names are kept unless they have an established translation.
The Formal and Informal options choose the polite or familiar form of address in languages that have one (for example Sie/du in German or vous/tu in French). The tool supports the 31 languages of this site. AI translations can contain errors; have important legal, medical or official texts checked by a qualified translator.

Which languages are supported?
The 31 languages of this site, including English, Turkish, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese (Brazil), Arabic, Hindi, Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Russian. The source language can be detected automatically.
Is the formatting kept?
Yes. The model is instructed to keep line breaks, blank lines, lists, Markdown, links and placeholders exactly where they are.
How accurate is the translation?
Modern AI models translate most everyday and business texts well, but they can still make mistakes with idioms, specialist terms or ambiguous sentences. Have critical texts reviewed by a person.
Is there a length limit?
Yes, per request, depending on your plan. The counter under the box shows your limit; split long documents into parts.
Privacy
Your text is sent to TIG's server and forwarded to a third-party AI model provider to generate the translation. TIG does not store the text or the translation; only the number of requests is counted for your daily limit. Do not submit confidential or personal data.
